Hugs is expecting babies! She is due in a couple weeks and I expect seal and maybe chocolates. Hugs babies are always full of purrrsonality!
This will be Hug's last litter, She turned 5 in June and its time she find a nice retirement home. Hugs has many many good years ahead of her to enjoy being a spoiled pet and I have kept 2 sweet little girls from her last litter to keep the line going. Watch for their beautiful babies mid 2011!
If you want to reserve a baby from our next litter drop me a note.
I have a few older kitties looking for good homes. Lila is a 1 year old lilac girl that is available for adoption. She is a pretty spunky kitty who needs a loving home. She may do best as a only child because she doesn't like to share her toys but I think she would also do well with a laid back friend :-) Her 2 year old blue sister is also available for adoption and I would love them to go together. Roo-ty is the one cat Lila is always napping with.
Lady Belle is also looking for a loving home, She is about 5 years old would love a older retired mom or dad who can be there all day for her to lay on their lap be petted. Belle only had 1 litter many years ago and just never was able to carry kittens again. I should of spayed and placed her years ago but she is such a sweet kitty! I adore this girl and want the best home for her where she can get all the attention she wants! Why now? The house is full and I am just not able to give her all the attention she deserves and letting her go to someone who can spoil her and give her all the TLC she wants is what is best for her. If you think that its you drop me a note!
LOVE MY LITTLE KITTY.......
I love my little kitty, she makes my house a home.
She always is my best friend, I never feel alone.
She makes me smile, she makes me laugh,
She fills my heart with love.......
Did some breeder breed her, or did she fall down from above?
I've never been a breeder, seen life through their eyes,
I hold my little kitty and just sit and criticize.
I've never known their anguish, I've never felt their pain,
The caring of their charges, through snow or wind and rain.
I've never sat the whole night through, waiting for babies to be born,
The stress and trepidation when they're still not there by dawn.
I've never felt the heartache, of a little life in my hands,
This darling little baby, who weighs but 60 grams.
Should you do that instead of this.....or this instead of that,
Alone you fight, and hope one day, he'll grow to be a cat,
and bring joy to another being, and make a house a home,
You know it's all just up to you, you'll fight this fight alone.
Formula, bottles, heating pads, you've got to get this right,
Two hourly feeds for this tiny guy, throughout the day and night.
In your heart you know, you're almost sure to lose the fight,
to save this little baby, but God willing.......you just MIGHT.
Day one he's in there fighting, you say a silent prayer,
Day two & three, he's doing well, with lots of love and care.
Day four & five....he's still alive, your hopes soar to the heavens,
Day six he slips away again, dies in your hands on day seven.
You take this little angel, and bury him alone,
With a aching heart and burning tears, and an exhausted groan,
You ask yourself "Why do this?.....why suffer all this pain?"
But see the joy your kittens bring.....it really self explains.
So, when you think of breeders and label them with "greed",
Think about what they endure to fill another's need.
When you buy a kitten and with your precious dollar part,
You only pay with money.......We pay with our heart.
